Most affordable breakfast spot on the block.
The only thing I enjoyed here was the service. They were very nice and informative about the ingredients. I ordered a soy chorizo wrap with egg whites. I don’t remember what it’s called, but the food presentation was not appealing at all. It was wrapped in paper, and because it was extremely oily, the paper stuck to the wrap. It was very difficult to get the paper off so I could eat it. The food was very bland, even when dousing it with the green salsa it didn’t make much difference. I also ordered a lavender latte. They make their lavender syrup in-house, but they make it with Stevia. I’m not sure why they don’t use raw cane sugar when they have it on the tables. Much like the food, the lack in taste is what was disappointing.
Worst breakfast! How is it possible there are good reviews? The gal behind the counter does not want to be there. And I will never go there again. Yuck.
Vegetarian options: Excellent food options, close to the beach and good service. The cook is passionate about her cooking and it shows in the quality of the dishes she prepares. Freshly baked items and great coffee add to the experience. Parking is an issue.
After our walk, the protein smoothies are great! Nice staff. Gets busy, so be prepared to wait.
