This place is excellent! I've been wanting to dine in during my many visits to Dallas. The food was delicious. It was a lot of food! We ordered the parilla mixta family combo, it was huge and came with everything. The plate says that is enough for 4 to 5, but honestly, I think even 7 people could eat from it. It's a lot of food, which makes it a great value. I got plenty leftovers and I'm happy with it. A downside is that the service was a bit disorganized however, all the employees were very nice and attentive. The ambiance was great too, good for families. Overall it was a great experience and everyone in my party had a good time. Just to clarify, this establishment has 2 restaurants in one. Sabor Llanero and Palmas de Brazil. I don't know how that works, but we came for the Sabor Llanero menu, which was excellent. I must say the Venezuelan food at this place is very authentic. If you are not from venezuela, you might not be as pleased. I would recommend you to do research and ask enough questions before ordering. This is not your typical American menu and is not made for all palates. I'm from the Venezuelan region where this type of menu is from, and food is the closest I've tasted in my 10years of living in US, excellent job! I would recommend this place 100% can't wait to come visit again!
I went with my family with the expectation of a Brazilian stake house. The menu was odd but we decided to try it. When we received the meats which was chicharron and what seemed to be brisket they were so dry we couldn’t eat them. The chicharron was so hard that I couldn’t even use a fork for them. The meats looked that were cooked the day before and just put in the microwave to reheat. We spent $165 for this… this is not the restaurant that has most of the reviews and pictures. It seems that they either changed the owner or type of restaurant but decided to keep the reviews to make it look better than what it is, very deceptive way of making business. Definitely would not recommend anyone to go there. Expensive and extremely dry food.
