Clean non habit forming food, a bit on the expensive side; Chicken Maroosh was medicore in taste for $16, and prep time was about 15 minutes. There is no parking anywhere.
Saad's is an institution. It is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood and all of Philadelphia. It feels like such an important part of the community because of how much everyone loves it, and the food is always the best. Everyone is so friendly, from the workers to the other customers, even Saad himself!! I have only the highest praise for Saad's. I especially love the sandwiches- they are all good, the lamb and chicken maroosh, also some of the best cheesesteaks in the city. The pistachio baklava is also something I always get and love.
Gotta have the Phillies cheese steak
Fresh food and very friendly staff. Excellent spot!
Had the chicken maroosh sandwich. It was really tasty. The tabbouleh was great too!
