Anyone know why they’re closed? Need my soup!

Perfect spot for a homey/soupy meal after a long day of snowboarding! My group ordered 3 different soups and the boiled pork. I got the Do Ga Ni Tang, which was really flavorful and had a generous amount of meat. My group also really enjoyed their soups, it definitely hit the spot! A bunch of other tables around us got the steamed pork feet, which I would love to come back and try.
A crowded, almost hole in the wall. Really good steamed pork feet. Also good spicy pork. The lack of non-spicy ban chan and also missing stuff like seafood pajeon means still not an all in one kind of restaurant, but good at what they do. Street parking can be a pain. Service was terrible though, they completely forgot about our booth that was isolated and away from the main group of tables. Number of times I had to reach out to the servers to ask questions or get refills. And they ran out of bibimbap. Can't just go to a grocery to pick up more ingredients? I'm a little baffled at that one.
This is a go-to place when you need a hot soup. Their specialty is pork soup (돼지국밥) or the soondae soup (순대국). The sliced pork platter (돼지수육) is highly recommended.
Constantly “out” of their most popular dishes. Ive frequented this restaurant numerous times in the past but stopped as their service was increasingly bad. A year passed and we decided to give this restaurant another try on MLK day. We arrived and were seated at 5:45 PM (not even peak dinner hours). I always try to order their spicy chicken stew. I would say 8/10 times they will tell you they’re sold out. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to order a dish on their menu here. I settled on another dish but was highly disappointed. Shortly after i received my food, a Korean family came in and ordered. Much to my surprise, they seemed to no longer be “sold out” of their chicken stew as it was clearly on their table. I asked the waiter if they were truly out of the stew, thinking i must’ve misunderstood him. But no he scribbled onto my menu placement that they were indeed sold out. I then look over at the family in which he also turns to look. Only for him to say, “Yes, sold out.” Clearly they weren’t. I’m not entirely sure why they want to gate keep a stew but ok. Overall, it was an incredibly weird and disappointing experience. Personally, i would never go back again as this has happened numerous times. For those looking for a good experience in Fort Lee, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
