Best steaks and cocktails in town

Inattentive, distracted service. Watery cocktails. Burnt lobster bisque - 0/3 diners ate it, we told our server, received no apology and it was still on our check. Appetizer portions small and mediocre. The steak was well-prepared and high quality; but the rest of the meal was disastrous and came to $500 for 4 people. Pales in comparison to the service and food at Fort Wayne's local high-end eateries.

Ther service provided by our server, Lindsay, was EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the food. They had a special Easter brunch that we ordered. My dish was delivered lukewarm at best. I did not send it back because I did not want to wait for it to be redone and then eat by myself after others were already done. My expectations when spending over $100 for brunch is that food will at least be edible. I was able to eat about half of it before it was too cold to taste good. I am in no hurry to repeat this kind of experience.

The service was excellent. The atmosphere was above average. I have been to many steak houses. More than a few five star restaurants. Ruth's Chris does not stand out. I was not impressed at all. I absolutely disliked their 500° plates. However, excellent service makes up for average food.
