Came here after a date at Lambda lounge across the street. Probably my third or fourth time coming here after Lambda, the food has always been amazing (besides the one time I came around 4 am after everything in the area closed down). I rarely give 5 stars- but this place deserves it. I ordered a small jerk chicken with macaroni pie. Honestly, the food didn’t look that appetizing when I walked in, evening was just sitting in the warming trays. The taste though! Idk how it’s possible to infuse so much flavor and moisture into well-cocked chicken but they have the secret. My jerk chicken had spice! It was juicy, practically falling off the bone. The macaroni pie is cheesy and would remind you of something your mom would make at thanksgivings. No corners cut, just great food! Service was quick and the portions are excellent, I ordered a small paid 10 cash. Believe it or not, this isn’t even full portion, I ate half of the chicken before taking this picture because I couldn’t wait. Top notch and authentic! I recommend with confidence

I literally live across the street and this is only the second and last time I go there. Your workers are rude af and today I find a damn sticker on my tomato in my salt fish!!!! I never write reviews but today is yall day!!!! I rather walk to jerk house than deal with the dirt and rudeness...

This was my first time at this 24 Jamaican restaurant. The food was great, the spot is a lil shaggy .. However I will recommend anyone who is in Harlem looking for Caribbean food this is it.

Thursdays December 21 2023 my first time at this rusty flavor in Harlem, wasn’t the best experience at all, first off the customer service was bad the food was nasty. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas. The rice was hard the chicken was cold and it was drowning in jerk sauce. Honestly if you are Jamaican or West Indian and want to run a restaurant business please get good chefs don’t try to do it your self thinking you can cook.

Weird restaurant scammers employees charge you the all plate without meat skinny light skinned female two time they did it to me so I don't recommend that restaurant

DO NOT USE THE ATM! Went to Rusty’s to try and get food after midnight when they’re only accepting cash. Another person came in before me and attempted to use the ATM only to discover a skimmer machine attached. He became angry and told the people behind the counter who didn’t seem to care. My friend and I left. The food isn’t that good anyway.

The food here is incredible. You’re definitely not coming to sit down or for the atmosphere and the service can be a little off sometimes but the food is always incredible. The oxtail pasta is one of my absolute favorite meals and I have to have it at least once a week.
