The covered rooftop lounge is a great place to hang out for drinks and appetizers. The ambience is upbeat, and there are plenty of heaters to make it super comfortable on those chilly and rainy evenings. Service did not come with any smiles, but our orders came out fast, and the drinks and appetizers (truffle fries and tomato burrata) were tasty.
Incredible rooftop dining experience with excellent service, however, we found the food to be quite lacking. The $59 steak was a really bad cut of meat with lots of gristle. The Sherry was so overwhelming in the sauce with the steak. The mash side was very runny, not good scratch mash. Salmon entree was very bland. Prices were absurd for this level of food. This could be quite the spot if the food was up to standards.
Really nice atmosphere, cool view and nice ambiance.
I was conflicted on rating either a 3 or a 4 star. Edit: I ended up giving a 2 as I thought more about it bc service is really important to me. The food was actually quite delicious. I got the lobster pappardelle, roasted chicken, and Brussels sprouts. The main problem was I had to wait 10-15 minutes before anyone even came up to us to ask us if we wanted water. The service here was horrible. Our server was never in sight. The food took probably over 30 mins to come out and no one checked in on us during that entire time. The food was good though. If not for the service, I would probably come back and try some other dishes. Another thing is I asked if I could take a carrot cake to go or if it had to be eaten at the restaurant. She said I could take to go but failed to mention that there was a 4.5-5% take out charge... my $6 cake literally became $10.50 lol. Because it was 5% charge on the ENTIRE CHECK. That's ridiculous to me. Maybe it was a one time thing and our server was just bad, but it puts me off from coming back.
We went here for lunch it was good! Service was great atmosphere was really nice!
