Absolutely love this place! Four years ago, we stumbled in here thinking it was a dive bar, and have come back ever since. I highly recommend their infused vodkas. I tried the garlic and it was unique, but great. Food was tasty and a good portion. My favorite was the gravalox and potato pancakes, which were crispy and flavorful. My husband had hot borscht, which he said was light and tasty. Great service and atmosphere!
While waiting for a Broadway play, we decided to try this Russian bar after seeing the happy hour menu. As soon as I walked into this bar, he gave a great post-Soviet vibe that is really amazing. It may be a small bar, but it’s very cozy and warm. It’s very decorative of and I like the light fixtures of red light color. The staff is very friendly and had great Russian accents. Our waitress Angelica recommended us to try martinis for the happy hour, and she personally recommended the peach martini which I enjoyed as it was strong and had a great peach taste as if I was eating peach itself but it was balanced well with the alcohol. We also got a pomegranate martini which was good but soft compared to the peach. But it is really good for presentation as it has the nice red color to it and both drinks are great with the addition of lime. I was definitely happy with the service and satisfied with the drinks. Overall, I do love this bar and I will return one day to try their dinner menu.
Cute little space, a great experience, staff are very welcoming.
This place is a blast. We only ordered the cheese platter for food, but it was very tasty. There are so many types of vodka and so many flavors. Watch out for the young Russian singer, though he will try to get you to $20 for a requested song. But the bar is awesome.
Good food, great service, horseradish vodka is a must!
