Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure

Had to pay ridiculous fees just to use the facilities!

We spent a week here at Rumbling Bald time share house and it was a gorgeous view. Our house had a large window that overlooked the lake and mountains with a hot tub on the porch. It was amazing. The only down side was it said slept 8 but there were only 3 beds a couch and a crib. Overall it was a good experience though, we got good use out of the fitness center, enjoyed driving through the mountains, and loved watching Dirty Dancing and pointing out the areas we knew. The main downside was to get anywhere you have to drive 30-60 minutes through hairpin turns to get in and out of the city. It takes a little bit of adjusting, just prepare for that!
