Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Lots of places to get "Texas barbecue" in Arizona but this is the real deal. Others have been overpriced. This is Texas sized Texas barbecue made like it is supposed to be made.

I can honestly say this was the worst pulled pork I've ever had. Strong flavor (vinegar?) Overpowered the flavor of the pork. Just tasted like mushy mystery meat. I've never had a pulled pork sandwich I didn't like till now. My wife had just the pork meat and pulled out chunks of inedible fat. Just not a good experience.

Definitely chain restaurant vibes but the pulled pork & potato salad were both pretty good. The toppings bar & coleslaw were both pretty bad. Pie was from a local bakery but was so so. My friends corn on the cob & brisket loaded potato both looked pretty good.

Food is amazing food, loved it, and BBQ sauce is out of this world. I could eat here every day .

The spicy-chop sandwich is great! Just try it! The boy tried both the baby back and the pork ribs, said they were both good. We'll be back again.

Loved it. Gimme more brisket!! I was drooling while they were cutting my savory cuts of meat. I got a free sandwich too. They had a sign on Tuesday. Not sure if that deal is still going.
