It's a fun restaurant. We had a nice lunch. I split the patty melt and a chocolate shake with my wife.

It was my first time being here and it’s been years since my boyfriend’s been to a Rubys diner. The atmosphere was nice, my boyfriend got excited when he heard them playing Frank Sinatra. The service was good as well, our waitress was very kind and the food service was quick. We honestly didn’t even need to order the appetizer because of how fast the food came out. And others might see food coming out fast as bad, but our food was delicious. And what I mean by fast, we put our order in at 6:22pm, got our appetizers at 6:25pm, then our food at 6:28pm. Now, I don’t know if this is a normal thing at other restaurants, but I’ve never gotten my main food course with my appetizer baskets still full that we just got lol. The service was great. The food was also very good, my boyfriend loved the burger and I loved the chicken tenders. The chocolate shake was really good. I loved how it was made, other places, make it too thick, or make it like a chocolate chocolate shake, and this one just felt light, the chocolate wasn’t too chocolatey, it was perfect to me. The ruby rings were also very delicious, we would definitely get those again. Overall great experience, tasty food and we would definitely go back if we’re in the area.

We ate fried calamari (very oily and taste quite weak and bad), kid’s menu cheeseburger (quite expensive as it has very small burger and cheese only and nothing special), and fish&chips (which is just ok, but not a great choice, it was very thick bread covered and fish is very small). We also tried their shakes, and they are very very bad; I am sure they have nothing natural in it and so many sugar or maybe corn syrup as my mouth and throat burning afterwards. So in total we paid too much for our quick dinner stop by. This was my first try the Ruby’s dinner (because my 7 year old son asked me to go and try as it is related to cars and stuff), and the only best thing they have the paper car toy for my son. Do I go there for a second time; a definite no. It is no worth paying for it.
