Ru Ru's Tacos & Tequila

This drink.... Take the Car Keys...... was everything. It was refreshing, light, and delightful. The atmosphere, food, and service were great. Idea for date night or even just a ME day! I'll definitely be back❤️

This is a fun restaurant with fun names on the menu, it's just overpriced for what you get. Great for tourists. Limited parking

I have been to RuRus a few times but I usually pick up to go. I love the food; however the one time I decided to dine in the service I received was absolutely terrible. I decided to dine is last night for my birthday. It was taco Tuesday and being that I always order the same thing I already knew what I wanted. When the girl came back with my drinks ( Arnold palmer and a lemonade) she asked us if we were ready to order and I replied “do you have any drink specials?” She replied “no we don’t have any specials on drinks” so I said “I want to do the taco Tuesday deal”. She asked me “what is on the taco Tuesday deal?” And I responded “no that’s what I’ll be having” she then told me to hold on and went to a table in the opposite corner and grabbed their empty plates and never came back. After sitting for about ten minutes I decided to set a five minute timer on my phone. We left. That was some of the worst service I have ever received, and on the night of my birthday at that. There was another server in our area too. One girl was white, and our server was a black girl with long hair. No one checked on us and we literally sat and watched around us receive and order food. I’ll never dine in again. What’s even sadder is I go outside and what do I see a whole list of daily drink specials. Smh.

The food was as great as the service! My wife got the frozen margarita and it was very good and creative. Not your typical margarita and they bring it out blended in a mason jar. We both got burritos and it was big enough to finish, but not so big that we felt stuffed afterwards. I saved room for desert and had their tres leche. It was delicious and very balanced. It wasn’t too soaked in milk, but sweet enough to keep a nice flavor to it. The caramel drizzle on it was what gave it a slight extra sweetness and wasn’t too overpowering at all. It was a great balance and not just your basic average tres leche. Overall a really nice Mexican spot that’s in the cut. Be careful with google navigation. It may take you to the location of the restaurant, but not their parking lot. It’s weird. We ended up making the wrong turn from google maps, but it ended up being the right way to get to the parking lot. Their parking lot has a sign pointing towards their parking so you can find it. Their parking lot is pretty spacious and accommodating. Please don’t let it discourage you from going. The restaurant was well worth the journey and will be returning for more in the future! Average food. Steak fajitas were a disappointment - flavorless beef on veggies that looked like they were steamed, not grilled. Whoever came up with the idea of "cutsie" names for each dish did the restaurant no favors. We ordered online for pick up & this made ordering take longer. I mean, if I want some guacamole & steak fajitas, I'd like to scan the menu & see these items listed like that. I don't need to figure out what's in "I love the smell of napalm" . Nice patio, though
