Very attentive waiter, everything we ate from first course to last was absolutely amazing. One and a half pound stuffed lobster was the highlight. No pictures taken as we enjoyed the moment phones free.

2017- As usual a D.C. Restaurant has great atmosphere, but the food lacked. Steak came over cooked first time, second time the steak was overcompensated and rare. Also the meat quality was grainy, tough, and full of tendons. Another perfect example of image first and not food. Welcome to DC. 2023 - gave it a second chance, medium rare steak came out medium well, decided to just pick up and go somewhere else to eat a good dinner. This is not a top quality place for food.

I seldom write reviews, but our recent dining experience at RPM in DC was so exceptional that it warrants a rare exception, primarily due to the remarkable service we received from our server, Henrry. Our meal started with the shredded Brussels Sprouts Salad and the Whipped Ricotta & Honey Focaccia, both of which were delightful. My wife enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Risotto, while I had the Short Rib Bolognese—each dish well prepared. However, what truly set this visit apart wasn’t just the food; it was the extraordinary service. RPM's business and the proximity of diners to one another could easily overwhelm, but Henrry navigated the space with a grace that made us feel both attended to and isolated from the hustle around us. In a bustling restaurant, Henrry provided us with an oasis of calm and attentiveness. His dedication to ensuring our evening was memorable went far beyond the standard service. He was warm, genuinely caring, and remarkably attentive, managing to make us feel as if we were the only diners he was looking after, despite the busy surroundings. What impressed me the most was how Henrry never let the busy atmosphere affect the quality of his service. We never felt rushed, instead, we were encouraged to enjoy our meal at our own pace, with Henrry expertly anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. As I mentioned, it’s rare for me to feel moved to write a review, but Henrry’s exceptional service at RPM truly deserves recognition. It’s not just about the food, as incredible as it is, but about how a great server can elevate the dining experience from good to unforgettable. Thanks to Henrry, RPM is not just a restaurant we dined at; it’s now a place we can’t wait to return to.

RPM definitely hit the spot. They have an amazing happy hour menu at the bar (drinks and apps from 3-530pm, 7 days a week). Pizza was small but a good app. It gets packed, make sure you get there early. Steaks were amazing and the service put it over the top (in a good way). If you are looking for great pasta and steak, this is the spot. Price wise, this is what you expect a resturant like this to be. I will be frequenting for sure.

Our first table wasn't ideal, so we asked for a better location. Without a lot of fuss, the Maitre d'Hôtel immediately found us a wonderful table in the bar, much more private and quiet! Outstanding service, great cuisine, and downtown location make for a special evening out! No wonder RPM is always full! Bravissimo!
