Royce's Nama Chocolates make for an amazing gift or treat for yourself! The classic chocolates are great, but definitely try their limited flavors too (my favorite the Oolong Tea flavor in 2023) 5/5 Au Lait 5/5 Oolong Tea 5/5 Matcha 4/5 Nut Bar Chocolate

Tbh I was a little apprehensive of visiting based on the reviews but I took a chance and was very pleasantly surprised. I was a man on a mission. Prior to visiting I called to verify if products were in store and the clerk who answered the phone was super nice. Upon entering the store I was greeted and assisted right away. Though I already knew what I was looking for, they stopped to ask how they could help and also brought attention to some new products in the store. To be honest I was expecting a cold and not great service experience but I was blown away by how nice everyone was. I know that someone put a comment here about the fact that the machine asks if you want to tip. Here are my thoughts. 1. The software POS program that they (and many other businesses) use has that automatically built in. 2. If you received outstanding service, why not say “thank you” for the service you received. Just like when you go to get a massage or a beauty treatment at a spa, you would tip the treatment provided for a service well received, so why not the same if you received good service in store? I know many will disagree with me on that, and it’s ok. We can agree to disagree. I will make a stop back in the next time my needs call for Royce and I happen to be in New York.

I had been to a few other Royce stores and this was by far the worst. There were two staff members just standing awkwardly, staring at our every move as we browsed around. They did indicate they would offer assistance if needed (no smiles, just very to-the-point), but we didn’t get any warmth or welcoming vibes from these women. There was no music playing, and with no one else in the store, it was just a bizarre experience that made me want to get out as soon as possible. We picked up a couple of things as quickly as we could and headed to the register. To top it all off, they were asking for a TIP. For what? Your time spent staring at us? Lol. This store is a joke. I would find a different location if you want to be appreciated for spending your hard-earned money.
