Food is okay, but not authentic Indian food. Onion Bhaji was way too much Besan (chickpea flour) than onions and had uncooked flour. The curries that we ordered were just okay. There is too much hype about this place in other reviews. Not that it is bad, but if you are in the mood for real Indian food, this is probably not it. Ambience is nice.
Visited this restaurant last week during my Fort Lauderdale trip. One of the worst Indian restaurant I never been before. Anyone can cook Indian food better than this restaurant. Don’t waster your money.
I love this place found it about 2 years ago and I have always loved their buffet. The Buffet is 14.95 I think. Food is delicious. They have the doubts on Saturdays and Sundays only. Chicken Curry which is my favorite. Fried vegetables that actually taste really good. Rice and beans that's good. I wish I had someone that would try the rest of the food they have because I am to scared to even put the other stuff on my plate. But I love this Indian food. The people worming here are very nice and fill your glass of water very fast. If I want Indian food for a good price I come here
I have been a loyal customer of Royal India restaurant for almost 19 years. I am an Indian food lover and they are one of the best Indian restaurants that I have tried all over the world. No other restaurants made the korma or the masala sauces better than Royal India. The atmosphere is crisp and relaxing, the restaurant is clean and organized, the food is fresh, authentic, and delicious, and the service is so warm and caring. Ask for Betty! she is incredibly loving and sweet.
I’m a happy satisfied Royal India customer. I love Betty, her great service and her happy-warm welcome makes me feel like a Royal. I enjoyed the delicious Indian cuisine, specially the lamb korma, lamb briani, and nan bread are my favorite dishes.
I've been ordering from this restaurant for over a year now and have nothing but praise. Can't speak to the dining experience as I always order for delivery or pick up, but the food is delicious. They don't do a "fusion" and add odd spices that arent typical of Indian food, as some places around here do. I love their curry chicken, though perhaps my favorite dishes are the aloo sag and the sag paneer (if you like spinach I highly recommend either). Their vindaloo is the only I like other than the place I used to go back home, as getting it spicy doesn't mean the dish is half oil. The onion naan is delicious also. If ordering through a delivery service, keep in mind they do not show the spice levels as an option on some of these services, and always give the mild by default. Many of the dishes come in mild, medium and hot though, and if you like spicy food it's worth getting at least Medium for the extra flavor. The only thing I would say I don't love, but don't really mind, is that the chicken pieces are quite large. If I order chicken though, I just cut them up a little more before serving.
Great tasting buffet .. could have been a little hotter. the soup was very tasty !!! Will visit again
Excellent food, my favorite Indian Restaurant. Highly recommended
