By far the worst French restaurant I’ve ever tried. The food was mediocre at best (the appetizers.) The entrees could have been prepared by any inexperienced cook with a Google recipe. However, the worst part was the service. The server never refilled water, never came to check in (I wanted to order a drink, but it was impossible.) I wouldn’t come back to this place, not even for free.
The food was very good, we enjoyed everything we ordered. French onion soup was excellent, the steak frites was very good, Steak AU Poivre was excellent. They have good varieties of drinks as well. Overall, great experience, we will come back again.
FOOD WAS DELICIOUS SERVICE WAS EXCELLANT Vegetarian options: A LOT OF CHOICES
I loved this place. Let's start with our Waitress Sarah. A wonderful host, and extremely knowledgeable on the menu. The Trout was lightly battered, and not over seasoned. The mushrooms were a perfect side. Toped off with a nice glass of bubbly and happy hour oysters .
Man bun Andrew was AMAZING. Food: DELICIOUS. If you are in philly you have to come here. It is a MUST!!! Also, GET THE BURGER!!!!
Andrew was the most amazing server! so helpful and attentive! chef val was absolutely amazing and we had one of the best meals of our lives! Thank you royal boucherie
Excellent food and service. Space was a bit tight and restrooms are not convenient to get to.
I have to say, as someone who's in Old City often, I can't believe I've never been to this spot. You can tell the atmosphere is well taken care of, the staff cares about their customers having a great time, and the meals were astounding. The food and presentation were amazing, came out very quickly, and the drink menu had a very wide variety as well. I will definitely be coming back!
Wonderful atmosphere and service! The cocktails are especially good here, as well as the steak frites. We also opted for dessert which did not disappoint either. Will certainly be returning in the future!
