I’ve resided in Atlanta for over two years yet this is my first time at Round Trip Brewing Company. Needless to say I was not disappointed. The place itself is well kept and looks very nice both inside and out. The beer styles were all very well made and I don’t have a single complaint regarding what I tried. The staff itself was also very friendly and hospitable. Finally, the bathrooms were very clean, so no issues there. Round Trip is definitely family and dog friendly. I wish there was more bar area seating but that’s not truly a complaint. They didn’t advertise their food truck well online so unfortunately I went to Johnny’s New York Style Pizza just up the road but would have supported the food truck had I known. Worth checking out, you’d never know there was a brewery back there without google maps, so the sign before the turn definitely helps.

Great brewery if you like German style beer. Good variety of options. Lots of games and a nice playground for kids.

Round trip is the absolute best. Their bar staff is top tier and their beers are fantastic. I am the biggest fan of their Smokin’ Translator and classic brews. Dog friendly, full event calendar and I always feel appreciated. You should hang out here.

This place has good beer, I'll lead with that. Also decent for bringing kids. But overall our experience was quite disappointing. Their beer board has no prices or size listings, just 3 different icons: one looks like a generic cup (interpret that how you will), one a pint glass, and one a mug / stein. You might make some assumptions from those about what you're getting, but you'll likely be wrong. The stein is a half liter / 16 oz pint. Ok, normal. Fine with this (except a stein is usually at least 20oz, and I still have no idea what I'm paying for it). The "pint" icon ends up being a 12 oz glass but a consistent 10 oz pour (we measured with water - this might maybe seem like neurotic behavior but based on what the bartender was telling us, we had to check). The "cup" is a little taster glass, probably a 4-6oz pour. All this to say, some beers come in either the taster or the stein, and some only come in the taster or 10oz. What's the difference? According to the bartender, "stronger" beers or "hoppy" beers. Included in this category is a 7% west coast IPA and a 4.9% session IPA. So to clarify, you're getting a 10oz pour of what would easily be a 16oz pour anywhere else comparable. And also you still don't know what you're paying for it. When we closed our tab it was $49 and change for six beers, two of them steins and four of them 10oz pours. None of our beers were over 7% abv. That's an average of over $8 a beer with tax (and I'm only including tax because I STILL don't know the prices of these beers). Tldr; good beer but with the very unusual and very manipulative pricing. UPDATE: Since the owner replied I thought I'd just add that I fully agree 1/2-1 inch of foamy head is correct! If a brewery isn't doing this, it's not a proper pour. What isn't proper is an inch of air, an inch of foam, and then 10oz of beer in a 12 oz glass for a non-high gravity beer. Again, the beer is good, the space is cool, but it's just odd sizing and a bit overpriced. But then again The Works is right nearby and massively overpriced, so maybe this is the new norm in west Atlanta...

Won’t be disappointed. A must-visit brewery while in Atlanta. Dog-friendly and great German-style beer selection.

I visited this location for the 2nd time w/my BF and our 1st time via the Atlanta Beer Bus (shout out to Ernest, our bus driver)! We were impressed that one of the beer-tenders remembered us from our previous visit some time ago! My favorite is the Isar Haze IPA, We also live the seasonal Marzen. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this brewery and the fact that there was a food truck out from. The Empanadas feom Calle Latin (in Decatur) a was very tasty and a great companion formour beers. The location is s huge space and you never feel like you're tripping over fellow beer lovers! We will be returning to this brewery!
