We came here for brunch and the biscuits were amazing! Our original batch was a bit cold so we sent them back, and not only did the management comp the biscuits but they gave us a second round of mimosas too on the house. Very unexpected but so kind! The atmosphere is gorgeous and customer service is top notch, we’ll be back for sure!

Snooze was too crowded, so we went to the rosedale and had one of the top 3 breakfasts I’ve had in Austin . The rosemary potatoes and the fruit pancakes were delicious

I had the civiche and the short rib. I recommend both. Both of the bartenders were extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions I had. They also recommended a great wine for both courses that paired extremely well. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu as soon as I have the chance to make my way there again.

Short version: Super cute restaurant with delicious food that takes customer service very seriously and is my new go-to brunch spot! Longer-ish version: I've been to Rosedale twice now. Both times I got the Eggs in Purgatory (Spicy Shakshuka). My husband got the grits on the first trip and the french toast on the second. On the first trip, we ordered the pastry board which we wanted as an appetizer. It ended up coming after our food, and we had to remind the waitstaff that we ordered it. My shakshuka was hot and delicious, but for some reason my husband's grits were somewhat lukewarm, albeit very flavorful. I provided polite feedback to who I'm assuming was the manager, who was very gracious and so we decided to give it another try! Second time, the French toast and the shakshuka came out perfectly, and the galettes we ordered came out beforehand as requested. I am mostly writing this to say that it seemed like a relatively new kitchen that was working out some kinks. So if you've tried it before and were less than satisfied, I'd highly recommend giving them another shot, because they've definitely made improvements to the flow and did so quickly!

Rosedale Kitchen and Bar is a neighborhood kitchen that serves vibrantly healthy dishes mixed with American comfort foods and a little worldly fare. Recently they released a new happy hour Tues-Fri, 4-5:30pm where you can find items such as: - Loaded Tots: simple, yet delicious. This was my favorite item and is a huge portion that can easily be shared! ($12 ➡️ $9 for hh) - 4.5/5 - RKB Burger: there’s more than meets the eye because this cheeseburger uses wagyu beef, so you’ll get a bit more richness in flavor. This was the biggest surprise to me! Sure, it may be a lil high in price for a burger, but it's def worth trying. ($22 ➡️ $14 for hh) - 4.25/5 - Bone Marrow Tacos: speaking of richness, you’ll find a nice buttery flavor here with some hints of nuttiness and citrus! ($9, only available during hh) - 4/5 - Ceviche Tostada: a crispy tostada on top of a ceviche mixture of rockfish, salmon belly, red onions, capers, cilantro, and coconut habanero broth. Highly suggest getting this one as well as it’s such a refreshing, light dish with lots of flavor. ($16 is usual price for a bigger portion, but this is $7 for hh and slightly smaller) - 4.5/5 - Rosedale Chicharrón con Tomate: a huge fried pork rind where you eat it with a tomato and garlic sauce mixture. Interesting dish and I'm glad I tried it. ($8, only available during hh) - 3.25/5 - Confit Hummus + Baked Pita: garlic hummus with extra virgin olive oil and crispy pita chips. It was pretty decent, but had a distinct flavor that I personally didn't care for, but I'm sure others will like it more than I! ($10 ➡️ $8 for hh) - 3.25/5 - Spring Fling: a Grey Goose-vodka based cocktail with strawberry, lemon, sage, and sparkling wine. A good contrast of brightness from the wine and sweetness from the fruits. Enjoyed this so much I got 2 of them! ($13 ➡️ $9 for hh) - 4.5/5 In conclusion, this happy hour has a good variety to choose from! They have an outside shaded patio which will be great during these upcoming good-weather days and the modern interior inside gives off a relaxing vibe that makes it a fun spot for happy hour. That said, I give them a 4/5 for being great!

Really friendly staff and good food. I've been for brunch and dinner, both were tasty. The menus are not large but they have a good variety of dishes. There version of a Bloody Mary (can't remember what it is called exactly) was also very good.
