Good happy hour. Great food and lots of it.

It's not that the food is bad, but it's just "fine" and it's very overpriced for the relative quality. Charging nearly $30 for some of the simplest pasta dishes is absurd, especially when you can find those same dishes done better and sold for less elsewhere.

BEWARE. My husband and I visited this evening and were under the impression that we were ordering spirit free drinks. This location serves 3 spirit free drinks, 2 of which have the SAME name as the ones containing alcohol. As people who are sober, we didn’t even look at the cocktail list to even notice that drinks had the same name. When ordering, my husband specifically pointed to the spirit free “Naomi” and we were given the drinks with alcohol. I began feeling weird and questioning if there was alcohol but was thinking it couldn’t be because we were specific. I am currently devastated and very upset because we have prided ourselves for being sober for years and it is now ruined. We informed the waiter and asked to speak to the manager. We explained to the manager the mix up and didn’t even blame the waiter, although if you’re going to have 2 versions of a drink with the same name, it should be company protocol to double check with costumers and not assume everyone is a drinker or CHANGE IT. We mentioned that as non drinkers how the menu can be confusing and that edits should be made to the menu to not have spirit free and alcoholic drinks having the same name. We were instantly met with defensiveness as if the mix up was our fault and I explained that my husband POINTED to the one we wanted under the spirit free section but the waiter just got the Naomi part and put the order in. The manager completely dismissed our concerns and said that he could just comp the drinks and there’s nothing else he could do and quickly left. I literally began crying because I would have rather been met with empathy and assurance of change. This is people’s livelihoods youre messing with and mistakes like this cannot continue to happen!!! The waiter then brought us the right drinks then made a bad joke and said something like “oh this one is a double pour or stronger” and that pissed me off even more and I just remained silent. That was very rude and unprofessional and clearly he didn’t read the room. After getting the check I guess the waiter felt bad because I was crying so he took our appetizers off the bill as well. I see others mentioning about the tall white haired waiter and the manager being terrible so now it makes sense. Don’t come here.

Seriously disappointed in our lunch today. The food was delicious and the portions were generous EXCEPT for the clams. The baked clams were noted as a Rosebud specialty. We got them. They smelled funky. Don't know what it was - maybe cheese, maybe old clams... I ate one. All I tasted was breadcrumb. If there was a clam in there I missed it. For a $20 appetizer and six clams I wouldn't recommend. The service was APPALLING. From the minute we walked through the door you'd have thought we were being greeted by the Maitre D of Chez Quis from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It wasn't that busy and he was alarmingly frazzled. The restaurant had three tables sat at 11:55 pm when we arrived for our six-person reservation. He told us he had to "get a table ready". They were just opening. What wasn't ready? The lunch rush hadn't even started. While we were waiting for him to gather his wits and get us a table, I walked into the empty dining room and found a server who was standing there doing nothing (because there wasn't anything to do yet). I asked where I could find the restroom. He said, "upstairs". We were standing in the dining room. There was no visible "upstairs". I asked how to get there. He turned to adjust a chair at a table and dismissively said, "stairs or elevator". I had to locate those things myself. When I returned everyone in my party was seated and had water. Appetizers had been ordered. The server greeted me promptly and asked for my drink order. Then everything stopped. Appetizers came about 20 minutes after we ordered them. We had been waiting for a late guest so we didn't order our entrees until after the appetizers arrived. Our server, who'd been attentive at the start, seemed aggravated by us. The lunch rush had started and he was probably busy, but I don't think that's an excuse. He told us the specials and when I asked what "Tuna Pepper Salad" was he seemed genuinely put out that he had to explain it to me. His demeanor didn't change. I found him to be quite snarky by the time I asked for the check. Half our party had to leave for a 1:30 meeting (our reservation was at 12) and the rest of us were left to pack up leftovers and pay. I was surprised by a few unexplained "surcharges" on my bill. But I couldn't find the server to ask questions. All together it added up to about $10. I considered taking it out of the gratuity, but I didn't. I tipped 20% on the pre tax total which I understand these days is the bare minimum. Clams aside, everyone loved their lunch. The portions were large. The salads were very fresh. The pasta, salmon, beef, and scallops were amazing. However, we all agreed we wouldn't be back. Maybe we'll go to the Rush Street one again someday but Randolph Street needs some serious attitude changing and better signage for the restrooms.

We came to Rosebud for a Sunday brunch without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us no problem! French toast + bacon + mimosas was amazing. And Sadie is such a fun and attentive waitress-- will absolutely be coming back in the future.

Great pasta and service, but terrible bruschetta. The bruschetta bread was cold and not toasted at all.

We came for restaurant week’s lunch but they don’t serve lunch on Fridays which I thought was odd. My pasta was good and was serving enough for two portions! I wouldn’t come back because the service was really slow, overall okay.
