Terrible Saturday night. Just the two of us. They couldn't get the food out together. No biscuit. They said they ran out. Chicken dinners were brought out in pieces. This was the third visit and the second time this has happened. I've decided this place won't be a regular place to go or even.
Wonderful meal but extremely pricey just bcs of Valentine's Day!
The food was absolutely amazing from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is so so cute. However, i was SO disappointed when i got the bill and there was a 10 dollar fee for using your credit card. Unfortunately when i saw that fee i deducted that from my tip for the waiter. They should really reconsider that fee.
Rose Villa is a great restaurant with a very unique atmosphere. Enjoyed the historic nature of the building. Their food is excellent, very delicious. Their service is not equal to the quality of their food and the very nice restaurant. It seems that when they get busy, there isn’t enough staff to effectively serve the customers. Parking: Effective
Went here to celebrate a birthday. We were seated outside under their pavilion for a party of 8. There was a little bit of a wait to get drink orders in but after that the rest of the orders were taken pretty quickly. I was impressed originally at how quickly our appetizers came out. The deviled eggs weren't great or bad just meh. The fried green tomatoes were sliced a bit thick. Mushy and not well battered but the lobster on top was nice and lump. I wouldn't get the tomatoes again. Everyone gets a basket of biscuits which were very good. Entrees took about an hour after appetizers to come out. We were all looking around like where is our food lol. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the porkchop dish. The shrimp and grits weren't our favorite. They were weird and then randomly had macaroni noodles in the plate. The porkchop dish was decent. Overall I was a little disappointed in the place. My sister really hyped this spot up. The server was nice and they do offer military discount which was nice.
Luckily the restaurant called to inform us that they would be having a Valentine’s Day only menu, which costs $125 PER PERSON. Had to cancel our plans, even though we were really looking forward to going for the first time to our reservation on Valentine’s Day. Did not expect a minimum $125 PER PERSON meal, as they said the regular menu would not be available on the 14th.
Gorgeous restaurant, elegant meals, great drinks!
