Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles - Hollywood

The only thing worth mentioning is how baffling it is that this place has a good reputation. Of the chicken and waffles, neither really impress. The waffles don't taste any better than a store bought Eggo, and the chicken wasn't impressive for the nearly 6 bucks a piece they charge. I guess since they're open late, you might want to go if it's 3 in the morning and there's absolutely nothing else open, but otherwise skip the spot. There are much better places in LA to go to if you're a tourist.

I’m sure the food here is good; my daughters say so. But I’m sure they would be doing way better if they offered an alcoholic menu on weekends or something different for the younger crowd. Apparently the vibe is like a club, without the drinks. So why wouldn’t you offer drinks? My younger daughter went with her boyfriend not too long ago during a pit stop to Seattle and says they’re expensive for what give you, and says the waffles don’t travel well. But who knows? Maybe it was just a bad day. Her boyfriend said it was alright. He says Jollibee any day though, lol. I never been there but my daughters like to go whenever they are in town, especially my older one. Shes the one who introduced this gem to her younger sister and my nephew. She’s been visiting for the last 10 years so the food must be decent. She says it’s nostalgic and a small piece of Hollywood that seems to have remained unchanged. As business owner ourselves for 24 years, my wife and I enjoy supporting mom and pop shops. We wish Roscoe’s the best of luck. Maybe we’ll try it too, one day.

Chicken & waffles, so so good its a must!! Also, i loved their biscuit with gravy. Lovely place and really kind people!

My server isaac was the best.attentive,professional,polite.he made sure we had a good time . .it was very busy .the waffles were buttery,the wings hott!just the way i like. .
