Had lunch with my coworkers. The server who brought the plates was rude. When we asked him for the names of the plates his response was less than accommodating. Additionally, the limited wine selection was unexpected, as we were informed they only had Cabernet, which seemed odd given the restaurant’s wine list. Overall, an average dining experience with a few service-related hiccups.
My hubby booked reservation on open table. When we arrived we were seated immediately. The hostess was nice and led us to our table. The restaurants well lit and colorful. Salsa and chips were served on the house. These were yummy, as usual we tend to fill ourselves up…it never fails. The chips were nice and crisp and salsa very tasty, not spicy, very mild. We ordered the Parrillada for 2, came with red chile chicken, grilled chorizo, 10 oz Certified Angus Beef® NY strip steak, warm corn tortillas, Mexican rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa. The meat we ordered medium and it was perfect…I felt it needed a little more salt, but my hubby was ok with it. The chicken was very tasty and well cooked. The chorizo was yummy, a little spicy. It was definitely enough food for the both of us. We both had margaritas, I had the spicy cucumber and my hubby had the original. I thought it was very strong, which some people may like…I do like to have tasty and savory well made drinks. My hubby liked his margarita. Overall the service was good, the food was also ok and the atmosphere enjoyable. We enjoyed our time there.
