I've been to root down multiple times for dinner and always had a great experience. This last visit was for brunch and it was my favorite experience so far. Our server Al was fantastic, the mimosas hit hard, and the food was wonderful. I got the chicken and biscuits and my partner got the breakfast burrito smothered and they were both amazing. Maybe my new favorite brunch spot?

Visit Root Down for restaurant week, the food was really good except the pork loin was on the dry side. But the gnocchi and banana dessert were fantastic. Service was lacking, waited 15 min to be seated, then another 20 to order and another 20 between courses. They kept bringing the wrong food and drink to our table. I think this might have been because it was restaurant week and very busy. I would for sure come back again, especially with friends at are GF and vegetarian, lots of good options.

No complaints, got the mimosas, ate the foods, kinda pricy but a cool time.
