Roosters Breakfast and Mimosas

Great Mexican breakfast.

There food was not good. I ordered steak and eggs got a unseasoned skirt or flank steak. My wife got chilaquiles and it was to spicy hot to eat. I ordered sourdough bread didn't get till after I was done and they charged me extra for the bread. Not one time did we have a waitress come by to see hor our food was or if we needed anything. We ordered coffee to when I was driving I opened my cup a there was hardly any coffee in my cup. For $70+ it was awful would not recommend.

While the food was good, how we were treated at the end of our visit was ridiculous. Myself and a friend had breakfast here while visiting the area. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly and taken to a table. Our orders were taken and delivered swiftly. The server checked on us within a couple of minutes of us getting our food and then didn't come back again until our plates were empty. Unfortunately, in the time between, we discovered that my friend's order was wrong, but our server never came back, so we couldn't report it. During this time, we also heard several crashes (dishes breaking) in the kitchen and bar area. We sat at the table with our plates gone for 20 minutes before someone stopped and asked if we needed anything else; yes, our check. At this point, we still had some of our alcoholic drinks left. About 10 minutes after paying the bill a staff member approached our table and told us that they knew we were enjoying ourselves but they needed us to leave because there were diners having to eat outside and it was cold out. We had been there for about an hour, had just paid $100, and still had a few sips left in our drinks. Not to mention that there was an empty 4top behind us. I found this request extremely disrespectful and rude. To make matters worse, I spotted 2 other empty tables on my way out. It is ridiculous to expect me to wait 20 minutes for a check and then, within 10 minutes of paying it, expect me to leave while I still have beverages in front of me. Utterly horrible way to treat customers. There was no valid reason to ask us to leave.

The atmosphere is very hostile. Bad service, Maribel was our waitress, didn’t care about our experience. Not accommodating

My fiancée and I went for breakfast yesterday and ordered a chicken fried steak and a croissant sandwich. For an $18 chicken fried steak it was the size of a hamburger patty and it was chewier than bazooka bubble gum. Also the gravy had lumps in it like it curdles or they improperly reheated old gravy. The eggs with that order were suppose to be over medium but were extremely runny along with like warm hash browns. The croissant sandwich was a huge let down. Homemade fresh croissant is a lie. It was stale and drier than sourdough toast. The French fries were definitely froze. Everything lacked seasoning. This was definitely not worth the $56 dollars we paid for. The waitress was clueless when we each had only taken a few bites and asked for the bill. We will not be returning!

Had Eggs Benedict and it was amazing. It's hard to find an authentic hollandaise, with a rich buttery flavor, but Roosters has it.

A little slow on the service end, but they had limited staff and a lot of patrons. Very good food. What a gem. We will be back for sure!
