Were to start... Have not been to this place in months, seeing that they were offering Sunday Brunch decided to visit them... BAD decision... Our experience, as well as others (one table stood up and left)... as we arrived they great us, and asked us to wait for a table, we got seated and it took around 8 to 10 minutes to be acknowledged by a waiter - mind you - this is NOT a brand new restaurant, yes, they started offering Brunch, which is an early dinner service (they have done that multiple times). Waiter took our drink and food order... Drinks came (Coffee and Ice Coffee) not drinkable (We saw other tables return the coffee as it was extremely strong and burned)... Food arrived 25 minutes or so after ordering (Chilaquiles with Shredded Beef and Avocado Toast) dishes that they currently are serving in the Buffet Line... One will think this would be quite simple not to take 25 minutes and to that Shredded Beef was cold, Chilaquiles we have had better... If you are thinking how can you mess up Breakfast well i would say this place has achieved this... and on top of that $20.95 per dish (it's a bit excessive) don't mind paying that only if the quality and flavors were there... as to our waiter, we only saw him 3 times... one word DEPLORABLE
Very old-fashioned restaurant serving Mexican-Italian fusion cuisine. The tapas were hit and miss. Some good, since very mediocre. The main courses were smothered in too much sweet sauce. One of their claims to fame was the caesar salad, which formerly, but no longer, was prepared tableside. It is mediocre at best.
I drove 3.5 hours to try the TJ Caesar salad after seeing it on TV. They brought me a regular Caesar salad and told me since I was dining by myself they will not make it the table side TJ version. So I’m punished for being alone. I really wanted to enjoy this experience. If I were Keith Lee, I’d give the food an 8/10 and customer service a 2/10. I wanted the Romesco experience along with the food.
La paso muy bien con las amigas. Bonito ambiente.
