Honestly one of best places for sushi in Chicago. Been a regular for many years. I'm always disappointed by other sushi restaurants. Not that others are bad, just not as good.
Definitely authentic. I'm half Japanese and I approve. I had their Spicy Chicken Ramen and Dragon Roll.
lovely joint with some truly delish food, and good prices
I glanced at the menu outside the restaurant and under "rolls" my eye caught the Arizona with "deep fried salmon". Went in and ordered that, fully expecting deep fried salmon on a hard roll i guess. I was pleasantly surprised to be served sushi rolls...those kind of rolls! Having a moment of lucidity it all made sense being in a Japanese restaurant and all. Highly recommend, will try again
Absolutely love this place!!! Tracy is an amazing owner and she loves her customers. I've moved but continue to return for the yummy food and beautiful atmosphere. Such a beautiful family business. When I have ordered for delivery my food has always arrived on time and it's still hot and fresh. Even the delivery people greet you with a smile and are so kind!
The owner is incrediblly personable and can work the whole restaurant by herself. Watching that is def something. She told me she created the whole menu and it’s all delicious! I’ve waited a year to come back and have a meal here(live in Indiana about 1.5 hr away). Every time I would come by it was a Tuesday so I could never grab food. Stop by and support them, you won’t regret it!
This is our go-to sushi place in Chicago! Amazing food, wonderful service and a lovely, calm ambiance. We always bring our out-of-town guests here. Plus we love that it’s BYOB! They take their time making the rolls so when we order pickup we always leave a little extra time (but well worth the wait). Try the Uncle, RnB or spring fever.
My rolls came with the wrong ingredients, the cucumber salad was all sesame oil, no vinegarette.
