Rollin Roots

I put in an order online for pick up and arrived 30 minutes after I placed the order and they could not find my online order. Finally when they found my order they said it would be another 15 minutes and I asked them to cancel the order. I won't go back.

My daughter and I ordered the truffle tots, oh my gosh they were so good! They were perfectly crispy and seasoned. Sometimes truffle can be a bit strong but these tots had just the right amount of truffle, salt, and heat. As my daughter put it the side of ketchup added just the right amount of sweetness to round out all the flavors. I didn't get to try anything else (I was bummed I didn't order the cauliflower wings) but everything looked delicious and this gives me a reason to take the family back and grab something good to eat. Rollin' Roots serves homey, hearty, comforting vegan food. They kitchen was super busy which is good. The staff was great, friendly and smiling and even though busy out tots came out quickly.

As a non-vegan, Rolling Roots is really a great alternative for whenever I feel like homestyle comfort food. I've seen the kitchen and they look very committed to conscientious ingredients made with love. It's a small kitchen, usually 1-2 persons, so it can get busy, especially with a full bar; but if you are willing to wait, it is worth it. Also kudos to Avonte and the food truck staff who did pay-as-you-can and weathered hardships during the lockdown to feed others, you guys rock!

Food was tasty but we were super bummed by the customer service, so much so that it left a bad taste upon leaving :( We drove specifically here on a saturday afternoon around 1pm, as long time vegans were hoping to find a local spot we could be stoked on. We tipped 20% right off the bat, which may have been the wrong move, and ordered for dine in. We sat on the patio for over 45 min waiting for our two sandwiches even though it was super mellow with few customers and many empty tables. The sandys were tasty but it took over an hour for the fried pickles to come out and though we paid the 7$ plus tip for fried pickles after the hour they brought us out the pickle chips saying they got really busy. Wasnt worth explaining to the staff what a let down the service was since it seemed obvious that they prioritized take out orders over ours. Wont bother giving this place another visit and def would not recommend to homies though the food was decent and sandwiches were large. Over 40$ for a bummer lunch :(

This is my absolute favorite vegan restaurant! My husband and I love getting the loaded fries and fried Mac and cheese balls. The service is always great and the outdoor seating option is perfect on the sunny day.

Wow! They did such a great job at meat replacements! The combinations in compounds/spices are great, too. Absolutely recommend, also for non vegans - nobody would notice :)
