Update: You no longer order at the bar and bus your own table. You have to order with a server like a restaurant, not brewery style. Lost 1 star because I always feel rushed when the server keeps asking if I need anything. It's not like they needed the table as it wasn't busy, but it's uncomfortable, and I don't want to wait to order something else. I like the freedom to walk up and order anything I want. I won't flag down a server because it always looks so disrespectful and tacky when I see someone else do it. Sad they've changed this. It's a really big part of my dining experience. Original 5 star rating:Excellent dining experience! I always prefer places where you order at the counter and then bus your own table. I don't feel rushed and usually someone will clear your table a little for you. That was exactly our experience tonight. Of course we bussed all the rest but they came over and check on us about halfway through our meal which was nice. The guy who took all of our orders was very friendly! I loved the covered outdoor firepit area. It was really nice on a breezy cold night just hanging out with a beer by the fire. Not something I get to do much living in an apartment. We will be back very soon!
Beer here was okay, but the service was so awful. The first bartender was a man who was really kind, but the heavier set brunette woman, and the woman with hot pink hair were terrible. For context, all of my friends and I are bartenders, tip at least 22%, are kind, clean up after ourselves, and generally get along with other service industry people well. For whatever reason, the brunette lady decided she absolutely despised us, and was just so nasty. A bug dived into my friends beer, and when she asked if she could get a new one, she said “Well that’s what happens when you sit outside. “ Just TERRIBLE customer service, and as a bartender, I know that is absolutely not how you handle those situations. The pink haired woman also had a major attitude and was super snarky to everyone, except the one man there. We stacked up a couple empty glasses for the waitstaff, and she proceeded to make a comment about how we need to be careful because we were going to break them. Idk if they were having a bad day, but I genuinely regret giving them a tip at all, which I’ve never done before. Take an anger management course or something, because none of us will ever be comfortable coming back to such a hostile brewery.
