Rodney’s Oyster House

My friend and I ate here during the week at lunch time. The waiter was an older gentleman who legit looked like he just got off a fishing boat. His demeanor is what really turned us off..Had to ask for things repeatedly, his attitude about providing us more lemons for our oysters was annoying . . He got a little to close to our food on the table while speaking with us .. uncomfortable. Would I go back? Yes.

We *love* Rodney's. Lovely decor, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff and absolutely delicious food here. Everything is top notch ... Always a great experience.

Was at Rodney's for a birthday dinner & it was superb. We had 4 different varieties of Canadian oysters and the salmon plate, fries, the lobster roll, clams, salad- all incredibly fresh and tasty. The staff were patient, helpful, and kind. I like the fact that the place is casual and friendly rather than cool & snooty. The delicious seafood & warm atmosphere made for a memorable evening!

They advertise take out menu till 9:00pm….. but they closed it at 7:45 , and they refused my take out order !!!!! These people need to properly advertise hours on their website!

There's only one place to go in TO when you have that hankering for oysters. This is not just a refueling stop it's a memorable experience. The food is always exceptional, the service is top notch, the atmosphere is unique and perfect. I've been slurping down shellfish here for 30 years and have never been disappointed.

Our server Nick was charismatic and knowledgeable. Would go back again for great oysters.
