I order beef brisket I got a small drink and fries not worth what I paid for it I paid too much.

Good is good. It's a bit expensive.

I resided in the Birmingham,Alabama are for 20+years. I am a Food Network junkie and I became aware of Rodney Scott's BBQ and LOVED it. I relocated back to Western NY.In the summer if 2022..Fast forward to the week end of 11/ 03/23 I returned to Alabama and visited the Trussville location. I was greatly anticipating an outstanding meal. I ordered "Take out"and drove to Pell City to my hotel. Once I opened my order, I have NEVA been SO disappointed. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs..mac n cheese and collard greens. The Mac n cheese was DRY..the collard greens were fair and the ribs were AWFUL..dry..old and definitely Overdone..I was SO disappointed. That was one aspect of my visit that I was looking forward to re visting. I KNOW that the Mac n cheese can be creamy..I KNOW that the ribs can be succulent and OH SO TASTY.. I was in the area to attend a function and due to time limitations I was unable to return to the establishment to speak with management I used to frequent their Homewood location and it was NOT my first visit to the Trussville location a n d previously I have been more than pleased..this visit left me highly disappointed. 01/13/2024 On January 6, 2024 I reached out to Rodney's Scott BBQ in Trussville, Alabama. I had visited this establishment on 11/03/2023 and was very displeased as my prevoous review indicated. However last week I spoke with one of their managers Mr. N. Halfacre. I discussed my concerns with him and he was very apologetic about the meal that I had received. He offered to refund the money I spent for my meal and extended an invitation for me to return upon my next visit to the Trussville area to enjoy a quality meal as his guest. He assured me that he would be contacting me again to complete the refund process. Well today Mr Halfacre called me to complete the refund and to offer me a gift card to Rodney Scott's. I was very pleased. Mr. N. Halfacre was extremely professional and courteous and made good on his promise. It was not my first time visting a Rodney Scott establishment in Alabama so I definitely had previous experiences at this establishment and thus my disappointment. I can honestly say that I appreciate your concern as a manager and the tactful manner by which you resolved this issue. KUDOS Mr Halfacre for you professionalism and the effectual way you turned the situation totally around. I look forward to re visiting your location and enjoying the succulent fare that I was accustomed to receiving. Great customer service and a great way to turn a situation around. Thank you!

You guys are mess Rodney Scott name up the meat was burnt up I love Rodney Scott until today trying my best to eat this unhappy ☹️

Great customer service and the food was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend ribs, pulled pork, and banana pudding.

This was my first time eating here. I have been a fan of Rodney Scott watching all the Pitmaster shows on Food Network. This will be our BBQ spot from now on. The Pulled Pork was the best I have ever had in my life. The food even impressed my fiance which is amazing because he is the pickiest eater! Can't wait to go back and try different food!
