I've never seen a place so overrated. I arrived last Friday with my two kids to have breakfast after seeing the raving r.e.v.i.e.w.s in here. The owner did not make an effort to hide his contemp towards l.a.t.i.n. people. After being ignored for a while at the front, I decided to walk in to ask if we can be seated and right then he decided to stood up by the front door to impede my entrance. He asked in a contemptuous tone if I had called first, I was upset at this point but decided to stay bc we all were starving and had driven for 20 min. to get there plus I had checked and no reservations were required and hey, maybe the food was good. Then he asked me if I wanted outside or inside seating. One of the waitresses (the granny) displayed the same attitude, thankfully the one serving us (Sherry) was very kind and considered (the only + in that place). Then the food came: overpriced mediocre lame eggs and potatoes. Coffee was ok. Overall an overrated and overpriced horrible experience, I shared this with my husband and his family (irish/german people) and they will make sure everyone we know b.l.a.c.k. list this place. Worthless! Parking: Park outside by the road. Terrible!

People seem to either love this place or hate it. Our experience leans toward the latter. We’ve been here once and found the experience and service so unpleasant, that we won’t be back. We waited over an hour after we ordered for our breakfast to come out. The waitress took our order and we never really saw her again until the food eventually arrived. In that time, never had my coffee refreshed. When we expressed how shocked we were at the delay, we got this: a shrug and a “We are short staffed in the kitchen” and she walked off. The bill arrived very quickly and with no problem,however, and we were never asked again if we needed anything or how everything was. I had the quite expensive crab cake Benedict which was ok but nothing spectacular and not worth the price and the service. I have heard from others that if you are a regular you get different and better service. Well, that won’t be an issue for us because we can’t see a reason to ever be back. There are so many better options where the food is great, comes out quickly and the staff cares.
