Service was good & friendly until he never brought our chips out but the other table had some & he didn’t bother to bring them at any point of time we were there, then he got my friends order wrong she clearly said no onion Cliontro and cheese is fine food came back onion all over we told a server that brought the plate out and he took it back, the owner (who took our order) came back to the table and said that we ordered the wrong item but it was okay like why even say anything did you want to argue about it? C’mon lol Anyway They Fixed The Food Tacos Were Great Burrito Was Rushed to be made slightly cold but still ate it and was satisfied. Finally My Friend Went Up & Paid Because No Separate Checks Fine That’s Cool. As We Are Leaving Out The Owner Is Chasing Us Saying That We Didn’t Pay & That We Need To Come Back Shaking My Head Is It Because We’re African Americans?! That Is So Unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!! One Of His Servers Told Him You Just Took Her Payment For Their Table and he was like oh alright like are you serious!!! Made Me Feel Embarrassed Because I Was The One Who Suggested This Restaurant In The First Place & I Just Brought Them Out To Feel Extremely Uncomfortable & Prejudged Even After The Fact That The Bill Was Paid. It’s 2024 & This Is Rodgers Park I Thought That Racism & Prejudice Was Over But I Guess Not. Won’t be coming back!!!!!! 10 out of 10 do not recommend

Ordered tacos twice because of the awards plaques on the wall-best tacos one or two recent years. Ordered chicken tacos two separate times. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Most of the flavor was from the warm tortillas (good flavor) onion and cilantro. The chicken was tiny nibs-barely enough for flavor and the smallest specs I have ever seen in tacos. Barely a sprinkling of cheese. 3 dollars each. 1.50 per taco would have been more appropriate. Barely one little sauce per taco. Sign says they charge extra for extra sauce. A sign at front says that checks can't be split at tables though the place is small and three maybe four at most would be seated at a table. Want to agree with all the kudos but my experience won't let me.

Neighborhood staple. Rocky’s Tacos has some of the best Mexican rice in the city. Actually seasoned with very good flavor. I just got the birria with a side of rice. Sat in for once and enjoyed my meal, it was pretty good! They give you a lot of meat and it is pretty flavorful! The service was okay, they were busy with a lot of to go orders but I didn’t need much so it was good.

Rocky’s Tacos is a recently found gem. These tacos are full of flavor and very tender. We got the Asada, Pastor, and the carnitas. We also got an Asada burrito. We love staying in this neighborhood every time we are in Chicago and try a lot of different restaurants. This is by far one of our favorites. On top of the great food, the staff are fantastic. We will be back every time we are here.
