Rock Steady - Atlanta

Food was pretty good, I hadthe lamb jerk egg rolls. In the resturant music was on point just TOO loud we were sitting right under the speaker.

This was my first time visiting Rock Steady. It’s been on my list of places to visit and I was invited for a birthday dinner previously but didn’t attend. However, my cousin had her birthday dinner here last Saturday, and I’m glad I didn’t decline the invite. The service was great! My food (curry pasta and I added salmon) was delicious. The music was also great. Their drinks were too sweet for my liking so I ended up ordering vodka and tonic (can’t go wrong). Overall, I had an amazing time but I do have a few cons. 1) It was extremely dark in there, which made it very difficult to see the menus. 2) $17 to add on a small piece of salmon is very extreme I’m almost certain I will be back and I would recommend to someone looking to step out and have a nice dinner and good time.

We were seated about 10 minutes after arriving it was very busy. I have been to Rock Steady about 5 times. The food, and service never disappoint. The music is guaranteed to keep you rocking, and the upstairs dance floor can be quite euphoric if you’re into afro beats, dancehall, Kumpa, ampiano. My out of town friends are always impressed when I take them there thanks for the vibes! Parking: Pay via app or cash

It's everything I wanted it to be. A different vibe downstairs versus upstairs. Valet only, make a reservation if u don't like waiting. It was a little dark to read the menu. The bathrooms were clean and the people were nice. This is an upscale Caribbean place. Wish they would have played more reggae or island jams tho. I had their version of Rum punch and Ox tails pasta, my friend had lamb chops, they were amazing.

Food was so good! However, it’s really dark in there lol love it for the ambiance but it could be a bit more lighting. I will be back.
