Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery

Update 2023: After being in many different places with my teenage Nieces, Rock Bottom has become their go-to. They have some healthy choices and the service has been constantly friendly. I appreciate having Rock Bottom as a culinary option. 2022 The only thing that sets this place apart from other gastropubs is the beer, and the beer is pretty good. Service can be off, and a little bland. But if you just want American food and some suds to wash it down before seeing a movie...this place will do fine.

Everything was perfect

The kitchen STILL has problems serving food that is uniformly hot, although my order of chicken fried chicken had truly hot corn gravy (on the side). However, the chicken itself and the mashed potatos and green beans were merely warm. Not horrible, but not ideal. And the chicken portion is now quite small compared to what was served in previous years.

Sad to give such a low review. Came here with my Godmother to celebrate my deceased mom’s birthday and my cocktail was very watered down. My cheeseburger was beyond greasy and lacked any flavor. It was very loud and crowded too, people coughing next to our table freaked me out as a germaphobe. Very expensive for sub par food. I also had food poisoning for 2 days after!!

The service is pretty bad, rock bottom, even for a sports bar. Our waitress was in her own universe, we were 5 people and she kept putting the drinks and food in one corner of the table saying she cannot reach. Our pretzels cheese dip had some hair in it, she was like, “hmm let me see” and seemed more bothered we bothered her. One of the guys wanted to try a different beer and she tried the discourage him saying it tasted the same as the one he had before. At about 9 she said she is leaving and we need to pay but someone else was going to take over and we could open another tab. We were completely abandoned, service wise, nobody came and after about an hour we just left. The place is open until 12 am…

Food was great. Service was a pretty slow, and we explained how we needed checks split and they still messed it up multiple times. For reference we went on a Friday night
