Came here with a group of 5, the server asked for our ID to order drinks and stated that we needed two forms of ID if we were from out of state and only one form of ID if we from Florida which we all were. He took our ID and when he came back, he demanded two forms of ID from some people from group to drink. What was the point of saying that we only needed one form of ID and then ask for a second form of ID after taking them to get them checked out. What other form of ID am I suppose to bring with me??? My birth certificate? My social security? I don't understand the logic behind this but I've never in my life have had to use two forms of ID to order a drink. The server instead wanted to pick and choose which is completely out of line in the service industry. Edit: there is no confusion, your server changed the policy to refuse my finance drinks. I’ve been to multiple rocos tacos locations and have never had to provide two forms of ID. How is he allowed to change the policy from “one form of ID if you’re from in state” to only choosing her to provide “two forms of ID” even though we were all Florida residents with Florida ID. Your own server took our ID from the table to get them verified yet this wasn’t enough for just one person apparently. I bet you don’t require your other out of state customers to bring two forms of ID.
Never have I felt this fooled in a restaurant. How does a Margarita on a Tuesday (with $2 off) cost $25?! Tasted like watered down version that you get on a cruise but didn’t return it because though it’s max $12. And in the end it’s not about the price, but the feeling of getting robbed that makes me go to next door in the future. We were also never seated so ate at a bar and I didn’t get all of what I ordered.
Nice lunch outside. Food is good. Pricey for Mexican.
Went in with a large party today you can tell the server was immediately annoyed. When I went to order my taco platter he asked what two sides I want but never said it was extra. I got a salad which did not like at all told him and he said no worries and took it away. When the bill came my three tacos ended up having an extra $15 “sides” fee. He couldn’t get us out of there fast enough after up charging a few people. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is good but this is the second time we had sub par service. Won’t be back to this location. Kid-friendliness: Went with a soccer team after a game only 16 people total but you could tell the staff was not excited to have 6 kids
