Roc City Ramen

Well, this place isn’t what it is called literally. The broth is way saltier than necessary. It is crafted for hypertension. None of us can drink up that soup for sure. The eggs AREN’T included, you need to pay extra $1.5 for each, that is new. Noodle quality is the one that you can get from supermarkets. So don’t even try this place unless you are so desperate about a bowl of ramen. However, their non-ramen dessert was good. I like their croissants danish tho. The whole dining area is spacious, it has 2 floors. The views from the 2nd floor was pretty good. It is a good place to chit-chatting and have a small drink, but definitely don’t come here for ramen. Oh, I forgot to mention about the the pork belly slices, why, because even tho they taste fine but so small. It is definitely smaller than other ramen places I’ve had. I guess that’s the reason I still give it a 3 stars. Peace.

Great food! Fantastic service! I ordered for delivery for my team via DoorDash. The Dasher did not show up to pick up the order, but the ROC City Ramen owner took the time to call me and delivered the order himself. Thank you!

Perfection on all counts!

One of the best overall bowls of ramen I’ve had in Rochester. I had the vegan miso and it was very flavorful, the staff was also extremely nice. Vegetarian options: Best vegetarian ramen I’ve had in Rochester

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in both Japan and Okinawa. I went with a classic Shoyu today. The noodles were perfect, the broth was awesomely authentic, the aroma was legit. I haven’t found many places that have held onto authenticity instead of being innovative which often translates to the need to be expedient. Roc City Ramen pays tribute to its culture and connection.
