Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies

9.10.23 - update This Toluca Lake location is permanently closed. Hate to see them go. It's the only one close around the Riverside Dr. area. I love you guys better than any other smoothie place I've tasted. I feel like your juices are fresh and you at least use real acai puree and not a mixed juice. Any chances of having lower sugar or monk fruit sugar substitute smoothies? Also, I'm confused. I just looked on Google maps and you have hours posted only on Thurs, Fri and Sat from 8:15-5pm. for this location. Are they not closed permanently? Above all my favorite smoothie place. They have a great variety of smoothies, bowls, sandwiches, cookies and muffins. The combination of fruits just tastes better in their smoothies.

Walked in and saw 10 people waiting for smoothies. There were a couple people in line and only two employees that I could see. Felt bad for them and didn't want to add to their stress so I left without ordering anything. Get your staff more support.

The visit was met with a lackluster greeting by employees who did not seem like they had any energy or felt like working (This store is located in Burbank bordering Toluca Lake on Riverside Dr.). They seemed like they only wanted to kick it and chat amongst one another. But, since it was raining and there are not a lot of Robeks locations, I tolerated it. I ordered the Mango Tumeric Madness because I liked the ingredients and I had never tasted it before. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy the drink because there was so much turmeric that it overwhelmed the entire drink. I ended up regretting it (I ordered a large)! The worst part was trying to drink it all. It made me feel sick so, I had to drink it slowly. But, I was not going to waste $10.99. This was a lesson learned. I will not make this mistake again. Time to find a place with more friendly employees, good customer service, and better skill mixing, blending, and balancing drink ingredients. If you were considering this location and this drink, do not!

Always on top of things, with fast and quality service. A congenial and conscientious staff. They keep me coming back at least four times a week.
