We love Roasters! This is one of our go to spots whenever we are in town visiting family. Be sure to get the cornbread and lots of it.
Food was great, but they are the only restaurant that I know charges for rolls and corn bread.
The sides that I got were better than 5 stars. The sweet potato soufflé = amazing. The black beans = well seasoned; better than I've had many places. The rotisserie chicken, I didn't enjoy as much. If you've ever had cooked chicken and didn't like the texture or taste, It was like that. Like it was cooked but could have used a bit more time and seasoning for more flavor. I'd prefer a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. But I'll be back for more sides and maybe their chicken strips. I think the strips will be good because they know how to season their food. So if they season their batter, yeah, I want that. Update: tried the chicken strips. Still a 3. They were small and soggy. Not worth the $18 for the dozen.
Great meat + three restaurant. Love the cornbread and desserts too
Met my uncle here for lunch on Feb 7. We both became significantly ill GI wise that evening. We had a side of the mac n cheese in common. We had not seen each other for months prior and were fine before so minimal chance of other illness causing the GI symptoms. I reached out to the restaurant to discuss let them know in private but never received a response.
Close to City Springs Theater. Food was delicious. Eric was very attentive. Great atmosphere. We will be back
Atlanta staple with consistently good food. Basically a meat and two. Lots of choices on the menu. Take out as good. Roasted chicken is there go to. Turkey plate is really good with the stuffing.
