What a cool hidden gem for locals and hotel patrons, alike.
Place was crowded most seats full however our server Charlie was excellent. Food was delicious drinks excellent. Will go back.
We drove almost 5 hours to stay at the hotel and made sure we were here by 8pm since restaurant closes at 9pm on Fridays. We arrived to be told kitchen closed at 8pm because they weren't that busy. This will be our first and last trip to the Lafayette Hotel.
Very nice apple-walnut salads. We added protein - my stepmother's salmon fillet looked good and I enjoyed my chicken breast. Ample portions and we took ours home. Charlie served us and was working hard to take care of everyone there. A nice dinner!
Very good French onion soup, fish in the fish and chips order is good but a couple years ago used to be four pieces then three pieces and now they only give you two. It's really not worth the price now. NOW TWO pieces!!
Wonderful place to relax and have some food. Beautiful historic building and service and food were perfect.
Food and service were phenomenal. French onion soup was spot on, smothered chicken and salmon with risotto were both good. The hotel restaurant ambiance is awesome, times gone by with class!
