River Street Sweets

Visiting from Florida, we were really looking forward to warm pralines, and River Street Sweets did not disappoint. Three out of four visits, they had just been made. The staff were super friendly too.

Was here briefly to purchase some chocolate fudge.

Great pralines and service!

One of many candy stores in Savannah historic district to get your chocolate, fudge, and bulk candy fix ($16.95/pound, same as all the candy stores), this was the first one we came across before getting to the ones closer to the river and in City Market. Similar experience as those, though smaller which is a good thing...other places get overwhelming.

I have visited here on multiple occasions and have enjoyed the selection of baked goods, candies, and other items. Sometimes a little crowded and hectic but overall good customer service. Always fresh and well prepared items to enjoy. Highly recommended.

Price for four pralines- $27. Ridiculous. I didn’t think they were much to write home about either. Dry and stale tasting. And the service wasn’t particularly welcoming either. So all and all, I should have kept walking. Very disappointing.
