Excellent Italian restaurant within Central Manchester's Corn Exchange. Hot, tasty and freshly-cooked food served by friendly and helpful staff. It's always reassuring when eating in an Italian restaurant to hear the staff talking between themselves in Italian. That's a positive sign! The restaurant was very quiet when I ate, at 3pm on a wet Tuesday, but it can get busy especially if the nearby AO Arena has an event on, so check or book to make sure.

Good food, cocktails and atmosphere. Seabass cooked just right and meatball dish tasty! I always try to note any potential improvements, so my only thing is... being asked 6 times if we've signed up for an app actually puts you off signing up for it.

If you like Italian this place is definitely worth a visit. Fantastic food, authentic vibes and not too pricey. Lovely restaurant. Went here in search of an almighty feast with family on New Year’s Day. The Table was easily booked through their website and upon arrival we were greeted with many smiling faces from maître d to bar staff. Everybody that we were served by or spoke to seemed immaculately clean, smartly dressed, polite, authentic and professional. They were impressively efficient at serving a very busy restaurant whilst also leaving you to take your time un-rushed The place itself has a charming interior and the ambiance is relaxed and chatty, with the music level just right. Sat at your table it’s easy to see that all the other customers seem to share your thoughts as they too are smiling and enjoying their food and time here. The food is well presented and full of flavour. (We had a fair few different pasta and pizza dishes and all of them were excellent.) It was a splendid end to a wonderful new year. Would definitely recommend.

I have always loved the food and the atmosphere in Riva. However, what makes the place is the staff. They are all so lovely and genuinely passionate about providing great service. A special mention needs to go to Marta. Marta was incredibly attentive and friendly. She made us feel so welcome and like we were being hosted at families’ home. The service she provided was top class, she is an absolute asset to the restaurant. I hope you can pass on this feedback to her, as she gave me and my colleagues a wonderful experience in the restaurant tonight. Gracias por seas así, Marta. Espero que te den este elogio.
