Strictly a to go spot; service can be extremely slow if they’re even remotely busy. Coffee is good, they have non dairy options too. They seriously make the best hot chocolate I've tasted in recent memory; using Dandelion cocoa nibs & diluting them from scratch. Be sure to grab a Dandelion Chocolate bar on your way out; A+++ Parking: you can forget about parking here- best to take a cab or rideshare.

Cold brew is the best in the city!

Ordered mocha. Asked for oat milk. They kept real milk and I've been farting all night. Was it because I didn't tip for an $8 mocha ?

I'm a regular at this coffee shop. This morning, a woman walked in front me, bypassing an entire line of people. I said we were waiting in line, the barista looked at me in the eye and proceeded to take that woman's order anyway. Also, sometimes they chat with the customers for a long time. Once, I had to leave the line because the barista chatted with one customer for about 5 minutes. Their coffee is generally good, but sometimes poor. I'm not going there back again.

$28-$34 for 12 ounce bag of beans.. I just can’t do it. Go to Boulangerie across the street and get 12 ounce organic fair trade Equator beans for $14-$15. The price spread on this corner for the same organic fair trade product is insane.

Outdoor seating available only (sadly). Fall signature drinks are here and I love Ritual’s signature Foggy latte.Since I love Earl Grey tea, this latte is a special treat with Earl Gray tea, orange blossom water and espresso.

This particular Ritual location is a small lil shipping container next to Patricia's Green in Hayes Valley. Do NOT be surprised if there's a line literally out the door, but also do NOT worry--the line moves quickly. Barista/os are some degree of vvvv nonchalant chill to friendly; I find I get the most smiles and conversation when I bring my cat with me (: I love to try their seasonal drinks (horchata latte, tamarind cold brew, foggy latte), but most tend to be too sweet for my liking -- I'm sure I could ask them to go easy on the sweet part, but I'm pretty sure the main flavoring is just sweet on its own. Oh well, a small cappuccino always hits the spot for me, and while it's def an American capp (would prefer even less milk, but not quite as small as a cortado), it's still tasty. Pastry case is always full, though I've never indulged, friends have & are always pleased. Pro tip: wait outside the shipping container for your name to be called, grab your drink, and enjoy it while watching the doggos play in the far/south end strip of Patricia's Green.
