Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Every time I come to bowling green, I have to stop at Rita's. The best custard around, and the ice is so refreshing. Great team working here, too! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian, but not vegan

I love Rita's! I used to go to Rita's often when I lived outside of Indianapolis. I got a Gelati with peanut butter marshmallow Italian ice and chocolate custard on my first trip to the Bowling Green Rita's. I'm hoping that Rita's will expand to Elizabethtown or Louisville sometime so I'd be closer to one of their locations!

Has one of the best milkshakes I've had in years

I absolutely love this place. The Gelati is seriously the best frozen treat in the area. I get mine with Cotton Candy Frozen Ice and Vanilla Custard - but there’s probably a few hundred combinations you could choose. Best part - sugar free options. As a person whose family has multiple dietary restrictions - Ritas’s in BG takes care of everyone one trip. Or do like I did and grab a quart for home! Keep an eye out for specials, seasonal flavors, and more - plus the cater events!!!

Recent visit.. didn't know they had flavored custard! Had black Raspberry custard in my Gelati! So great. Staff was super helpful. Ahhh brain freeze but soo worth it! Enjoyed Rita's in past years so I was super thrilled to see one open in BG. Custard is still the best around and the flavors of the Italian ice are always delicious. This one is new and clean and staff was very helpful. Look forward to getting more!
