The food is well made and has excellent presentation. I feel a little overpriced on the location and ingredients.

Cool and cozy restaurant near Downtown San Mateo! There are tons of different options (mostly Japanese food), ranging from yakitori to sushi to ramen. All the items are super good, too! My favorites were the chicken thigh yakitori, the yellowtail sashimi , and the Rin-Tei salad . All their ingredients were super fresh, and were flavored perfectly! The interior has nice wooden decor, and is a great cozy and calming dining experience. Definitely give this place a try!

I ordered beef pho and it’s really flavorful. The broth is spot on and the beef is super tender. Nice and minimalistic decorations make for relaxing dining experience.

Yummy (except for the spring rolls)!

There are so many options on the menu, and I just wish I could try them all someday. Every single dish is nearly perfect, with some tasting even better than those in the original country. The food here is accessible even for first-timers and those who have never had Asian food before. I’ve heard that the chef is an expert with extensive professional experience in Japan, which reflects in the choice of ingredients that perfectly complement each dish’s flavors. Not to mention the high quality of their service; all the staff are prompt and friendly, well-trained, and equipped with knowledge and experience, ensuring customers have a comfortable and enjoyable time during their visit. It’s the perfect place to recommend, invite, and gather with your friends and family at any time!

Surprisingly sophisticated flavors in such a casual looking restaurant. Highly recommend everyone to at least once.
