Bought a salt beef bagel today. Large one with poppy seeds and onion (£7.5) Bagel was not fresh nor chewy, at least day old. Very little beef, lukewarm and had literally no taste, I looked at it and it had a strange colour, it was old... There was a lot of mustard and this had also no taste at all, I have had English mustard that after few weeks open loses heat but never experienced it turning completely bland, it must have been very old. After 2 bites I chucked it in a bin and called them to inform that they shouldn't be selling food like that. I just got an apology and was told that the manager will be informed. Will stick to the bagels from brick lane and some good places in Golders Green when I fancy a proper salt beef bagel.
Amazing Jewish bakery that has been running for more than 100 years. Authentic, tasty and good price.
Great tasting food with incredible service and friendly staff! A hidden reasonable treat!
Prix très correct pour une telle qualité de cuisine et un service rapide ! Je recommande !
A beautiful and aesthetic bakery in Whitechapel. Absolutely love the cronuts, definitely going back. Will go back for the freshly baked bread loafs and the bagels for sure. Absolutely recommend it.
Super tasty Strongly recommend that place We'll definitely come again) Thank
Great bakery, so many tasty things Often come for filled bagels at lunch, but hard to resist a crodough as well!
Very hit and miss. I have ordered the same roll three times now, cheese, lettuce and tomato. First time was okish, not great not horrendous, second time absolutely amazing, just the right amount of filling but third time hardly any filling plus the guy didn't clean the knife he'd used from the previous order as i watched him. Ended up with, i assume, Branston pickle in my roll plus only a tiny bit of cheese and lettuce
Fab bakery with loads of history. Salt beef bagel was delish
