The dry aged ribeye here was so flavorful. They cooked rare exactly how I wanted. I started with the seafood tower, which was fresh and juicy. Our waiter Abdullah was a gentleman.
By far the best steak in town that I have tried so far. The delmonico dry aged was insane. We went for my birthday. Everything is great here. When you go you need to request Tylers area. Compared to Halls and Ruth's Chris, Rick Erwins is where to go for steak.
The hostess was very friendly and showed us to the bar area to wait for the rest of our party. The bartender attended to us quickly and continued to check on us and bring more snacks to munch on. Once the party arrived and we were seated, the waiter (Michael) attended to our every need. By recommending the best parts of the menu and going through the specials, you could tell you were in good hands. He truly is a master in his work! We started with the seafood tower, which was amazing! This restaurant is known for their steaks and boy did they deliver. The only negative is that as I was coming out of the bathroom, I bumped into the waitress and got some balsalmic/oil mix from the bread dip on my shirt. She offered a towel to help me clean it, which really helped. Unfortunately, the shirt is too stained and will be tossed. The odds of this happening again are extremely low, so I hope this doesn't deter you. Rick's is my #1 choice when I visit Greenville on business. I will be sure to return for many years to come.
During our travels to Atlanta from Virgina, we stopped in Greenville, SC and made reservations at Rick Erwin’s West End Grille. This was our first visit to West End Grille and we were not disappointed. The food was perfection and the service was impeccable. Many thanks to our waiter Kevin who not only provided exceptional customer service but also made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We our looking forward to dining at West End Grille on future trips. See you soon Kevin!
Stopped in Greenville on our way to Atlanta and made sure to spend some time walking around downtown to enjoy the sights. When it came time for dinner, we decided to give this place a try. No reservation, but the hostess was accommodating and asked if we'd like to wait in the bar. When we walked in, we liked the ambiance so much we decided to eat there. Our bartender was FANTASTIC. Friendly but have us plenty of space. He made sure to bring fresh chips, bread and olive oil. The bread was amazing. I ordered a whiskey sour - it was mixed beautifully. We ordered the 3 for $42 which includes a salad, fillet and dessert. Caesar dressing was delicious. Fillet was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also ordered the surf and turf. Bartender offered scallops instead of crab cakes and they didn't disappoint. They were seared perfectly. Both entrees came with asparagus and creamy, whipped potatoes. Delicious! After another round of cocktails, he delivered the creme brulee and coffee. What a dilectable way to end the meal. I highly recommend having dinner and drinks at Rick Erwin's. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
It had been awhile since we ate here and it was a Monday night, but it was somewhat disappointing. My cocktail was excellent, the wine was overpriced and the cacio e pepe was disappointing.
Outstanding experience celebrating my mom’s bday!! It started as we walked in the door and walking out. Molly and her team was perfect on every point - descriptions, suggestions and service. Thank you, we will be back!! PS Get the burrata salad!!
Nolan BBQ shrimp is wonderful, not traditional BBQ, be surprised! Filet en cruet is very good on special. Potatoes au gratin and brussel sprouts are excellent sides, both are worthy. The swordfish was amazing too. The tiramisu is next level, inspired by tres leches! It's a for sure!
Absolutely amazing experience from the moment you walk through the door.
