Rice for King

This is our favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Calgary. We always go to this Deerfoot Meadows location. The food is delicious, the menu choices extensive and the items are all economically priced. The service is excellent and personal. The owner is very attentive and accomodating, We are always personally greeted and made to feel welcome. The service is always quick and friendly. The lady owner is marvellous.

Wasted money. Dishes are pure rice.

So incredibly delicious. New menu items are fantastic. Loud fast music at lunchtime.

Bad experience. Don't ask for hot sauce. You will be charged two dollar more for a tiny bit without being noticed.

Really enjoyed my food. I ate rice vermicelli delicious.

Was expecting a lot more cause of the 4.3 starts overall they have but I was really disappointed. I ordered #7 noodle soup and it got to us pretty quick. But as soon as I take a sip of the broth it taste really bland and the noodles have this weird texture, like a wet paper texture and I didn’t even finish my food and left. Last time I’ll be coming back.

Tasty food.

Very disappointed in the food and the restaurant was dirty. Ordered spring rolls and two mains. The chicken in one of our dishes had a weird taste and texture, the other dish was bland. Spring rolls were decent. It was expensive for what it was as well. The restaurant was messy and the bathrooms were filthy - had a thick layer of dirt on the floors and the walls were stained. I don't understand how this place has a 4.4 rating!!
