Good food. But like the epidemic across the country, they expect a tip on the iPad….AND they have the nerve to make you BUST YOUR OWN TABLE. Food’s already overpriced, now you want me to clean up? Tables also are covered with a cheap plastic mat, not the best quality to be eating on esp with what we now know about plastic interaction with hot food. Owner’s rude. Please do better.
I decided to try this place for lunch yesterday. I got the Khao Moo Dang and it was was really good. It was a little pricier than I typically spend on lunch, but it was definitely worth it. I plan to take my parents/husband here next time they decide to spend my lunch break with me. I NEED the recipe for their house chili sauce - perfect balance of spicy and sweet. Kid-friendliness: It is separate but part of the same building that the Discovery Museum is located in. When I went, there were plenty of families with children at a variety of ages.
I recently dined at this Asian restaurant in Reno, and it's a must-visit. The food is amazing, the people are great! The shrimp toast was a standout, perfectly crispy and flavorful. Gabe's sangria was a lychee bomb. And the soft shell crab is a seafood lover's dream. Highly recommended for great food and a fantastic atmosphere!
I come here to get genuine hotpot once a week, very hard to come by in Reno. Service is fantastic, food is really good. The owner is very accommodating and genuinely cares about the guests. They have tasting menus and dimsum as well as their regular day menu. I highly recommend it.
Large bowls of pho with tasty broth and rice dishes.
Food was excellent, very tasty with the crunch you want on the cutlet. Cute environment, and good amount for $.
The food was good but the service was horrible. The owner was very rude and had a major attitude just because we had not had this experience of dining before. It was our first time going to a place that did hot pot. Seemed kinda condescending when explaining and made it very clear you only get 90 minutes. Which is fine, you got a time limit cool, but made it feel like we were being rushed to get out like we were hindering the rest of the buisness for being walk ins. Not once checked in with our table throughout the time we were there, neither did the rest of the staff yet there wasn't that many people there. The one time he or staff did check in was to just remind us there was a BILL as if we weren't going to pay, but we watched them check in with every other table and be pleasant with them offer them more items, apparently they also had ice cream there? We weren't offered that before we were done like the others were, so I don't know if Reservations are just treated nicer than walk ins or that's just their passive-aggressive way of telling people to get out like you're not really worth their time? Also seems like he doesn't take criticism very well, or handle it professionally. For the price we paid i think it nearly totaled to $200.00 it honestly wasn't worth the experience or the food, if you wanna spend the money go somewhere else.
