Rib City Grill

We ordered over the phone and went to pick up the food. When we got home we opened it to see a tiny little cup of Mac and cheese, one half of a piece of corn on a stick and barely any meat for two people. The cup of Mac and cheese was like a sample and same with the corn and it was very dry. For $45 dollars! The only thing that was decent was the ribs and bbq.

Great service, nice place, good people. We stayed a bit late and the staff was very accommodating. They break down the check for each person so it is easy to split the cost.

Called ahead to reserve a table for an 8 top and was assured we’d have no wait upon arrival. Arrived to find out our names hadn’t been taken down and waited an additional 30min. Server was rude to the point where we informed the manager and left. She was apparently irritated that my grandfather was hard of hearing and was unable to understand what she was saying about drinks. This place has gone way down hill since Rib City has taken over for Walt’s BBQ. Don’t waste your time the service is better at McDonald’s.

This was a terrible experience for us, in all honesty. We came in for a quick meal and ended up staying for almost 3 hours because of service! Three tables that were seated after us were served and out the door before we even got our meals. We sat down and ordered drinks, one of which was chocolate milk for our daughter....and they were out of it. Then we ordered our entrees, one of which was brisket....which they were out of. We then waited 45 minutes to get our food. When they brought it out, they forgot mine and had to rush back in and make me a plate, which they did in less than 3 minutes....so I'm not sure why it took the rest of our food 45 minutes. However, they brought my plate and I just had to laugh. I ordered chicken and pulled pork, fries, and green beans. I got chicken and sliced pork with fries and baked beans. They had to rectify that, which they did in 5 minutes (again, why did it then take 45 minutes the first round). Our daughter is tired and unruly at this point (thanks to being hangry, not having chocolate milk, and having to sit for so long). My drink has long since been empty. The waitress then leaves us to eat for another 40 minutes. Plates are cleaned and we are waiting for our check. In the meantime, two more tables get sat down next to us, order, and receive their food. The waitress comes back to check on us and we ask for pie to go and our check. We should have just asked for the check. Because apparently they had to go down to Florida for those coconuts for the coconut cream pie. After another 30 minutes, we receive our pies and check (and the other two tables have finished up and received their check). On top of that, none of the food was all that good. I ended up not eating my pork (sliced or shredded) because it was tasteless. The baked beans were basically molasses and beans. The chicken was dry as sandpaper. My daughter's chicken nuggets were cooked to a crisp. But my husband did enjoy his ribs and our daughter ate everyone else's texas toast because that's all she could stomach. We don't plan to be back any time soon.

Great service and awesome food!!

We were in Hamilton for our son's volleyball tournament. It was difficult finding a restaurant that could accommodate our large group of over 30 people. Rib City was not far from Spooky Nook and they reserved a private room that could have easily fit up to 40. Our server was Jason. What a fun and personable guy! We couldn't have asked for a more patient server for our chaotic group. We could not speak for the other meals, but we had a bit of everything, ribs, chicken, pork and beef! My favorite was the chicken. My husband's favorite was the baby back ribs. What really surprised us was the owner, who came out to thank us for choosing Rib City. Thank you, Sir, for welcoming us! ***For a large group, plan to be there for 2 hours. We used the time to enjoy our drinks and company.

Great menu of food Kid-friendliness: Open season on them with a bbq soaked dinner roll. If they aren't well behaved,loud and running unattended. Wheelchair accessibility: Dropped off at the front door. In to the restaurant
