When served a third glass of wine, the server made a comment “dont get sloppy on me.” Not really what you want to hear when spending $45 on wine at a nice restaurant.
To start, the atmosphere is amazing! It definitely feels like a high end restaurant. For our visit, we didn’t have good service at all which was the first major miss for such a high-priced restaurant. The server knew it was our first visit, but didn’t take the time to go through the menu with us. When the server came by the table it felt as if it was an obligatory stop because they had to pass by us to get to another table. With the food, the server cleared our prosciutto board and took our silverware. We didn’t get fresh silverware and our entrees came with nothing to eat them with! We had to stop another staff member so we could get silverware to eat. Half of our food was not fresh. It was apparent the shaved ribeye sandwich had been sitting for some time and the potatoe purée was so cold the butter wouldn’t melt! The next big miss for a higher end restaurant is no! If there were dessert options, they were never presented to us. In summary, if you want a nice atmosphere to drink wine this is your place. If you want a high end dinner, there are plenty of better options in the Columbus area.
Great experience, beautiful location, delicious food, loved the atmosphere! Such an elegant and stylish place! 1000/10. I had the Cesar salad and it was delicious. The truffled fries and the lobster roll are also very good! Place is a must. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options! Parking: There is a huge free parking lot right next to the restaurant!
We went to have lunch today! The place is extremely pretty and the staff were very helpful, professional and polite. The food on the other hand was less than mediocre for fine dining. The listed prices on the food items are inversely proportional to the taste. The lobster roll was super bland and tasteless, the burger had 2 meat patties as if we were at Mcdonald’s( not that McDonald’s isn’t good but it isn’t fine dining) and the shaved ribeye on a charred garlic bread was extremely chewy with very subtle flavor. The appetizers we tried were good but then again they were the shrimps and the crispy artichokes which require minimal cooking skill to prepare. In brief, the dining experience at Restoration Hardware Rooftop needs immediate restoration.
Gorgeous place and the service is exceptional. Our waitress was Maddie and she was great. The ambience is quite stunning although I wouldn't be mad if the place had a dress code to match (tired of seeing jeans and hoodies in nice restaurants )... Unfortunately, they don't have a broad menu to cater to various dietary needs. The only thing I could eat was a salad which was dressed up in a most peculiar manner. I'd love to go again for the atmosphere, but hopefully the menu gets updated. Vegetarian options: Very limited choices. Dietary restrictions: Not great for low carb/low sugar dietary needs
Our server Brady was amazing! The food was delicious and our hosts were very accommodating for baby stroller and seating situation. I had the salmon and it was great! Small portions but quality food
